War games up for grabs
German board games in which players win points for bombing British cities are going up for auction.
In one of the 1940s games, youngsters must blow up enemy strongholds including London and Birmingham.
Board games based on snakes and ladders and battleships also get a disturbing twist, reports the Daily Mirror.
Historian Richard Westwood-Brookes said: "It's hardly Monopoly is it? I can't see Mattel producing a Dambusters game.
"It's most unlikely any other examples exist. They are testament to Hitler's total domination of propaganda."
A later fourth game based on tiddlywinks called V plots an attack on Hitler himself.
The toys are auctioned in Ludlow, Shropshire, on Thursday, and could fetch as much as £300 each.
