EDUCATORS: Create Account and Class(es)
INSTRUCTIONS FOR CREATING AN EDUCATOR ACCOUNT AT STUDENT EDUCATIONAL EXCHANGE (SEE)
1. Go to www.SEEdebate.org
2. On the right sidebar below the login fields, click on the link that says “Create a new account”.
3. Choose the “Educator” account type.
4. Fill in the Registration form.
Items with little red stars* are required fields for verification purposes.
5. Read the terms and conditions and then click on the box next to Accept terms and conditions
6. Hit "Create new account"
7. Your account will be created immediately and you will be automatically logged in.
CONTINUE TO CREATE A CLASS:
1. On the left sidebar, choose “My Classes”
2. Fill in a unique name for your class.
3. Under description, fill in your grade level.
4. Choose the way you want your students’ subscription requests (to join your class) to be handled:
If you want to approve or deny any students’ entrance into your class, click “moderated”. You will have to manually approve each student to enter your class. If you want to allow your students to login immediately and be subscribed to your class and ready to go, click “open.” Even with the open option, you will still have control over unsubscribing anyone in your class.
5. If you are satisfied with your information, click submit.
6. Now that your class has been created, you may go to “My account” in the left sidebar to find your unique “class code” to give to your students.
REMEMBER, YOU CAN CREATE AS MANY CLASSES AS YOU NEED TO IN ORDER TO BEST ORGANIZE YOUR STUDENTS!
